Record Player And CD Black Friday-What is The Construction of A Record Player?
The record player is actually a phonograph that everyone can often see on TV. Today’s record players are no longer just a simple music player. They are stylish and functional, and are more like home decorations. So, what is the construction of a record player? Just come with me to find out.
Turntable
The function of the turntable is to place the record. It can drive the record to rotate, so that the needle of the record player can read the analog signal on the record, so as to produce wonderful music.
Big speakers
The loudspeaker can be said to be the symbol of the retro record player, especially in some old Shanghai film and television dramas, it is often seen. Because the volume read by the stylus is very low, a large speaker is installed to amplify the sound. But now the record players are specialized audio, do not need this part.
Singer
The cartridge is one of the most important parts in the record player. It converts the analog signal of the stylus into vibration, then converts it into sound according to the vibration frequency, and finally plays it through the loudspeaker.
Tone arm
The tonearm is the second half of the cartridge, which is mainly used to automatically stop playing after the record is sung. Most phonographs now have such a function.
Hand assembled RB303 tonearm with stainless steel balance weight. 24v low noise motor. Dual layer float glass platter. Phenolic (lower) and metal faced (upper) bracing. Precision main bearing & aluminium adaptor. TT-PSU power supply electronic speed change.
You get a custom machined drive pulley, new and improved RB330 tonearm, separate power supply and single piece aluminum sub-disk. There’s also electronic shifting and a smoked dust cover to match the double-glass platters. The design is sturdy yet lightweight, as Rega believes that too much mass can adversely affect the sound.
If you’re serious about sound and looking for one of the most refined turntables in its class, the Rega Planar 6/Ania might be the best turntable for you.
Factory mounted and aligned Sumiko Rainier phono cartridge
The Rainier offers a replaceable stylus that can be easily upgraded to a Sumiko Olympia (or even a Moonstone!) in a matter of seconds.
8,6 inch carbon tonearm
The new Debut Carbon EVO features the proven 8,6‘‘ one piece Carbon tonearm design. The super stiff, but lightweight tonearm delivers an insane sound quality with a convincing sound stage.
Gold platet output sockets
The signal from the Rainier is transmitted via a single run of high quality copper wiring direct to high quality RCA connectors with a completely separate ground, preserving the balanced signal from the cartridge output.
Semi-balanced RCA phono cable
The Debut Carbon EVO is supplied with our Connect It E: a semi-balanced, low-capacitance cable with superior shielding designed specifically to carry the delicate phono signal.
The new Planar 2 was developed over the past two years alongside the recently released Planar 3. Featuring the brand new RB220 tonearm which is packed with groundbreaking new features.
Hub Bearing The Planar 2 has a new 11mm self-securing brass bearing (Patent Pending) offering improved fit and less stress on the bearing preventing the transfer of potential energy. Plinth High gloss acrylic laminated plinth stiffer and vastly improved appearance with ergonomically positioned power switch. Three plinth finishes available high gloss black white or red. Motor New 24v low noise low vibration motor assembly and new PCB. Platter New float glass Optiwhite 10mm Improved accuracy platter.
